Sawing
MDF boards are cut quickly and without shatters by carbide saws.
Drilling
The instruments to drill plywood and particle board are also used to drill MDF.
Milling
MDF structure allows to mill edges and surfaces under high handling speeds. Thanks to its physical-mechanical properties, MDF is optimal material fo creating beautiful and unusual elements in furniture design.
Gluing
To glue MDF same glueing substances are used as for natural wood.
Sanding
When sanding, we recommend to use sanding types with 100 grit, depending on the type of product to be produced and further handling technology.
Lacquering and painting
These handling technologies demand individual selection, depending on the type of product to be produced and terms of its further usage.
Dowel
To put the glue in, the dowel hole should be 0,2 mm wider than the dowel itself.
Fastening
The holes for screws should be drilled beforehand. The diameter of the hole and the screw cross-section should be equal.
Covering
It is necessary to choose the right glue for MDF covering, depending on the covering technology. The smooth surface of MDF itself makes it the ideal material for covering.
